For The Love of Animals Lottery
January 7 to March 31, 2026
- Total value of all prizes is $82,500 CAD.
- A maximum of 27,500 tickets are available for purchase.
- Tickets are sold online at https://theloveofanimalslottery.ca/
- Ticket price is $15 CAD each or 4 tickets for $50 CAD or 10 tickets for $100 CAD or 50 tickets for $350 CAD. The 50 tickets for a $350 CAD package, is limited to 150 orders. The lottery system is set to discontinue selling this package once 150 orders have been processed.
- Total value of the 50/50 Raffle is to be 50% of all 50/50 ticket sales.
- Ticket prices for the optional 50/50 raffle are 5 tickets for $10, 30 tickets for $20, 250 tickets for $50, 500 tickets for $75 CAD and 999 tickets for $100. 50/50 tickets can only be purchased with a valid purchase of a For The Love of Animals Lottery ticket. The amount of the 50/50 jackpot will be displayed on the website.
- Valid ticket is receipt and proof of purchase.
- Only valid tickets are eligible for the draws.>
- Tax receipts cannot be issued for ticket purchases.
- Ticket purchasers must be located in the province of Ontario at time of purchase.
- Purchasers must be at least 18 years of age.
- Tickets cannot be purchased for or in the name of persons less than 18 years of age.
- The following, and family residing in the household, are not eligible to purchase tickets:
- Management and employees of the Ottawa Humane Society
- Ottawa Humane Society Board of Directors
- Management and employees of 20Eight Digital
- Employees of the registered gaming supplier, BUMP a Division of Canadian Bank Note Company Ltd.
- Employees of the Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario
- Early Bird Draws:
- The 1st Early-Bird Draw is a cash prize of $2,500 CAD. All qualifying tickets for the 1st Early-Bird Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The 1st Early-Bird Draw will occur at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.
- The 2nd Draw is a cash prize of $5,000 CAD. All qualifying tickets for the 2nd Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. The 2nd Draw will occur at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.
- The 3rd Draw is a cash prize of $10,000 CAD. All qualifying tickets for the 3rd Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. The 3rd Draw will occur at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.
- The 4th Draw is a cash prize of $5,000 CAD. All qualifying tickets for the 4th Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. The 4th Draw will occur at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.
- The 5th Draw is a cash prize of $5,000 CAD. All qualifying tickets for the 5th Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The 5th Draw will occur at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.
- The 6th Draw is a cash prize of $5,000 CAD. All qualifying tickets for the 6th Draw must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The 6th Draw will occur at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Ottawa Humane Society office located at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.
- The grand prize draw prize is a cash prize of $50,000 CAD. The grand prize draw occurs at 2 p.m. on March 31, 2026, at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. The deadline to purchase tickets, to be included in the main draw, is 11:59 a.m. ET March 31, 2026.
- The 50/50 prize is 50% of all add-on 50/50 raffle tickets sold. The 50/50 prize draw occurs at 2 p.m. on March 31, 2026, at 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. The deadline to purchase 50/50 tickets, to be included in the 50/50 draw, is 11:59 a.m. ET March 31, 2026.
- Tickets will be sold using the electronic raffle system supplied by BUMP Worldwide Inc. Winning ticket numbers will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the lottery.
- All valid tickets included in the early-bird prize draws, including the early-bird winning tickets, will be included in the grand prize draw.
- The winning ticket number, and name and place of residence of the winner(s) will be recorded and announced immediately after each draw through the event website.
- Lottery winners will be notified by an Ottawa Humane Society representative. Such notification will include information about the prize claim procedure.
- Winning ticket number and name of winner will be broadcast by the Ottawa Humane Society for the For the Love of Animals Lottery.
- Winners may claim their prize in person, by appointment only, at the Ottawa Humane Society, 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6. If unable to claim their prize in person, winners of the early-bird prizes will be mailed a cheque for their prize to the address used at the time of purchase. The Grand Prize winner ($50,000 CAD) and 50/50 winner must receive their cheque in person on an agreed date and time at the Ottawa Humane Society, 245 West Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K2E 1A6.
- The winning ticket holder has six months to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.

- In these Rules and Regulations, and in all electronic or printed material related to this lottery:
- “AGCO” means the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario;
- “For The Love of Animals Lottery” means the AGCO approved electronic lottery system designed by Bump Worldwide Inc. and operated by the Ottawa Humane Society for the conduct of this lottery;
- “Dashboard” means the Dashboard component of the computer-controlled system designed by Bump Worldwide Inc. for the conduct of this lottery;
- “Draw” means the random selection of a winning ticket number by the Ottawa Humane Society through the For The Love of Animals lottery system;
- “Player” means a person who is eligible to participate in this lottery in accordance with the Rules and Regulations;
- “Prize” means the consideration or item identified by the Ottawa Humane Society that is provided to the winner of a draw in return for the purchase of a valid ticket;
- “Ticket Number” means a unique numerical sequence randomly issued by the For The Love Of Animals Lottery as set out on a Valid Ticket;
- “Valid Ticket” means the For The Love of Animals Lottery ticket issued by the Ottawa Humane Society that is not void;
- “Winner” means the person who is the bearer of a winning ticket and who satisfies all conditions established by the Ottawa Humane Society to claim the prize;
- “Winning Number” means the number of a valid ticket selected as the winner during a draw;
- “Winning Ticket” means a valid ticket that bears a ticket number matching the winning number of a draw.
- These Rules and Regulations are effective as of January 7, 2026.
